Pinball/Arcade in Toronto, ON
« on: February 04, 2015, 11:33:31 pm »
My Anniversary is coming up, and my wife is a big Pinball/retro Arcade fan. We've already been to "Get Well" (decent retro arcade classics), but I'm looking for somewhere to go with a more "pinball" setup. Does anyone have any recommendations? I know our bylaw's here really suck, but if anyone has a suggestion of where to find a few good pinball tables, it would be great. Thanks!

I was excited there for a moment, thinking maybe you knew a place - or else, that you were opening one! The only place I can think of is the Playdium Store. The Salespeople don't mind if you go in and play their machines, and they usually have 20 brand new machines running.

Took the family to the Playdium store to pick up some spare parts awhile ago, the wife/kids loved it, but yeah... it's out of the way, no drinks available, and not really anniversary-quality :)

But you are right, it's probably the only place I'll find anywhere with more than 1 or 2 semi-functioning tables... blech

I just found out last night that there is a pool hall in town that has 16 pinball machines with 6 more on the way. Plus other arcade games. I plan on going to check it out tonight.

Sadly it's not in Toronto, but a short hour and a half jaunt down the QEW and across a bridge into Buffalo.

Don't hold out on us....where exactly is this place?

[update]
I think I found it:

I may have to stop there on the way home from work next week.

Definitely not in Toronto, but thanks for this! I'll check this place out the next time the grandparents take the kids, and we can get down there... excellent find :)
