If I went with a fire and ice them I would think doing fire on one side, ice on the other, and maybe have it say "A song of fire and ice" across the bottom front wraparound of the CP...Thoughts?  Although I have no idea what I would do for the fire and ice sides

Also just recapped the LCD and I think I may be in business.  It appears to stay powered on now.

Yep, one bulging cap.  1.99 at radio shack and we are good to go.  Nothing like a 19 inch lcd for $1.99.  My work was throwing it out

Got a little time in the basement tonight.  I still have to cut the speaker panel, and cp/cp front.  I just need to test fit the monitor as well.  Then we can cut the molding slots. prime and paint while I try and figure out the art

How can you not have a Game of Thrones themed "wee" cade without Peter D?Is that too insensitive?

CP question.  My cp will be made of 1/2in mdf.  I have a zippy I plan on using but it has the short stick.  what is the best way to mount.  Route the top?  If so what screws?  Do you then fill and cover with vinyl cp art or just put the vinyl right over the base?

:laugh2:       LOVE Dinklage!  Just watched Knights of Badassdom - he made the movie.

Anyway - with a 1/2" CP I'd not bother routing at all.  Just undermount and be done with it.  When I use a 3/4" CP, I route to 1/2" and then use T-nuts to mount.  Carriage bolts would work just fine as well.

I was very surprised at how much I liked that movie, and you're right, Dinklage totally made it for me.

Had a bit of time to work on this over the weaken.  Got screen mounted, speakers mounted and the cp built (need to use router to round the joint)
Now I have to work on the art.
