Are the controls in faster than speed as bad as it seems to be on demul for me? Not sure if I need to adjust sensitivity settings or anything, or maybe I'm not used to the driving style in that game...I admittedly haven't played it enough.

Controls DEFINITELY take some getting used to. Apparently there are some "special moves" you can do, and I cant figure them out. For example, the U turn 1/2 way through the second stage of the beginner course. one time I pulled off a power slide / Drift around the turn and it was great. Unfortunately Ive never been able to pull it off a second time.  I think both games could use some tweaking but I wouldnt know where to begin.  Im going to hop on the machine when I get home and see if the the rev limiter beep is present on both transmission types on the real deal in Maximum Speed.

The worst thing is when I pull one cart for the other, I need to change all my settings again in the operator menu (setting free play and lap count in Maximum Speed; and setting free play, unlocking all the cars, and free selecting courses in Faster than Speed)


@BadMouth: I think you had them set to "must be switched" because its a 2 way shifter on the arcade cab. But the shifter itself returns to neutral.
