Fanatec CSR + Demul

Anyone have any luck setting this up? I can get my wheel to work in EVERYTHING except DEMUL. Is there a different Atomiswave emulator that supports wheels?  I have an actual Faster than Speed cab (with both Faster than Speed and Maximum Speed carts) and I'd love to be able to compare the Fanatec and emulation to the real thing.

what issue does it give you? does it not recognize it at all? or is it too sensitive and keeps reading one of the axis all the time? if its the second one, it is doable. when setting up the pad, it would always read one of my axis. you just have to be patient and keep hitting the button or axis you want to it to read. for example, if mapping the brake, keep hitting "map" the brake with your foot on the break. itll take 5 or 6 times but it will finally read the correct axis, same thing with buttons. it all about timing.
Ive got a good setup and faster than speed still hiccups from time to time. maximum speed i dont play because i think its weird. you go from 0 to 200 in a second and when you turn more than 5 degrees, the tires screech alot. it get annoying. i couldnt find a video of the gameplay of the actual arcade version so i dont know if its just a poorly made game or if the emulator is messing it up

as soon as I hit the button to map its mapping something. Im sure I can get the gas, brake, start and nitrous button mapped using the method you described, but I have my doubts about the wheel.
The way you describe maximum speed is accurate to the actual cab. Its also impossible to come in first place unless the lap count is increased from 6 to 8 laps.

its likely mapping a pedal. i turned down to sensitivity to from 100 to 5 windows and marked them as combined so it wouldnt read the pedal while i mapped everything else. and then i mapped the problematic pedal last. it take a bit of work but it doable

No experience with the CSR pedals, but with a G27 the clutch pedal will register constantly unless it is held exactly halfway down.
Also, Demul works better with the pedals combined to a single axis if that's an option for you.
