Need I say more? Picked this up for my Vita last night and it's got "arcade" written all over it.

Yikes... not sure what to think. The side view is rather strange with top-down view planes. It looked as if the airplane was out of control.

That's what I thought until I played it. It's fairly forgiving controls once you get used to it. The difficulty increases as you play so you always have a chance to get going. I recommend!

You'd probably need an analogue stick like a 360 for that, it would appear.

Nope! I copied the swf from the website and converted it to a standalone exe  and it works great in my arcade, love it!!!

You don't point the stick in the direction you want to go, you steer left and right and then use forward or (on a gamepad) the L and R buttons to thrust. No analogue needed! Really good game.

Don't think that's the full game but you get the gist for sure.

In the full game you get upgrades and challenges. It's good.

I do not work for Vlambeer (honest).

Vlambeer always knocks it out of the park. If I had the time a Luftrausers cab would be a project for sure.
Completed projects: Pac bartop (Plug & Play), 30th Anniversary Pac cab (MAME), Point Blank (PS1), Centipede (arcade hardware- light restore), VS. Super Mario Bros (arcade hardware- light restore) Tetris Cocktail (SNES), Arcade Classics upright (60-in-1, then MAME), Multi-Raiden (arcade hardware). Pac Man vs.(Gamecube),

Working on: Pinball Re-theme, Homebrew arcade arena shooter

That would make for some really sweet cabinet artwork actually.

Looks interesting..  But can it beat a 2 player game of Two Tigers?  (the version without the cross-hair cannon firing at you)    IMO, I dont think it can.

Me and a friend once got up to like stage 11 on Twotigers.  It was a very difficult feat.   Always have a blast playing it.
