Question is, if the rep button gets pressed does it change the state of the site, thus promoting internet search rankings?

Also we have a lot of haters in this forum that would abuse the up and down vote if it was enabled, so it is nice to have something positive for a change.

Dude, if that's the case rep me now!  Those Kool-Aid pitchers were the sh*t!  Whatever happened to Kool-Aid man?  Did he finally get too elderly to break through walls all the time?


Kidding aside though, if you guys want to make this rep thing useful then might I suggest linking it to the post and not next to someone's sig.  That's how it's done in other forums and it works a bit better as you actually have to read something the person has typed and can only "like/rep/whatever" once to that post, so no doubles. 

That being said that doesn't work very well either.  I think my like count is around 1000 over at psx scene, which makes me feel good, but seems a bit much.
