Rowe Ami Nostalgia Track Startup Loud
« on: November 11, 2013, 06:47:08 am »
Hi

Recently purchased a Nostalgia and when each track starts up, the first few seconds are much louder. I can understand the use for this in a bar maybe, but in my house its a little annoying. Can it be switched off?

TIA

Stan

1.
check the avc setting on your amp(if the amp has this switch),usually located near the (mono/stereo)switch.
2.
check the wiring on the volume control(internal or external)

just as posted
avc is not kicking in right
it should start low and go up from there
your avc may need to be rebuilt >new caps as a rule<
