How to convince the wife?

Not sure I'm in the right forum here but anyways.....

It looks like I'll be getting a Revenge from mars pinball as payment for a job pretty soon and here's my problem.
I live in a small 3 bed apartment with my wife my son and my dog, and really the only place I can have the pin is in the living room, it's really there I prefer to have it because I think it looks beautiful but I´m pretty sure my wife will not agree with me, I believe the she will say it's ugly, loud and takes up to much space.

I would just LOVE to roll the pin in and place it in the living room and the tell my wife to just deal with it, but I am not ready for a divorce :D

Any advice on how I can convince her to let me have it? Is there a way to make to bumpers and so on to make less noise?

Similiar boat here in an apt.  Another baby on the way, so all the baby crud has to come back out so my spot for a cabinet got shot down.  All I can recommend is to negotiate.

Had a pinball back in the day, neighbors hated it.  Could only use during the day when we thought they weren't home.

My first pin sat in the living room and the wife (girlfriend at the time) didn't really seem to care.   We tended to play together though so I guess that is one strategy.  When the second one arrived, I had one in a bedroom and the other in the living room.

Any chance of moving it to a bedroom?   I squeezed one of mine in there.

ask first. (even before you think about bringing it home)

source: married.

Its easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.
