Severdhed, You mentioned towards the beginning that putting the laptop (that you didn't go with) into the CP might allow you to take just the top with you. Have you done anything like that even though you put the computer in the bottom? I love your build but I am thinking about putting a shelf in the back and adding speakers and a projector for a fully self contained system that would be "semi" portable. From the distance you have it from the wall I could get a decent sized screen with a short throw and from farther away you could have 120-inch arcade gaming. |

Personally, I think the pedestal would vibrate too much to have a project mounted in it. |

i agree. Projectors are very touchy when it comes to vibrations. Your image would be bouncing around all over the place. It is a cool idea, but i just don't think it would work well. |
