Pinball on a computer. Any good?

I agree with spoot. Future Pinball (using Physics 2.5) and Visual Pinball 9 are the best bets for a home emulation/PC setup.
I have both on my recently completed (March 2013) cabinet. I love both programs but honestly play more Future Pinball than VP.
There are some EXCELLENT table designs available. I'm partial to recreations of real world tables.

Oh, and I'm using PinballX as a front-end and it's pretty fast/stable and author is releasing patches quite often atm. And if you do Future Pinball......look at the BAM mod for 3d.

Pinball FX2 was on sale for 50% off on steam this weekend.....not sure if still on sale.
Tables are hit and miss...
