I guess amazon....steam...origin....netflix.....itunes.... are all just passing phases?
Seriously, I don't even know if there is a bookstore left in town, except the ones that are also coffee shops.

I didn't say that people didn't also buy things online, but brick and mortar, particularly for games isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Well I hope you're right... I personally hate steam, and try to buy an actual copy of a game I like, but as a PC gamer, it's getting tougher and tougher.
Howard_Casto:
Oh you didn't specify pc gaming.... yeah I'm pretty sure that might go entirely digital at some point or at least pretty darn close. I can go into any given "s mart" and the pc games section looks like the island of misfit toys.
Console and portable games seem to be safe though... at least for now.

You know the best part about living in Phoenix this time of year?
Ice cold beer after a day of abuse at work. Need to do a meat up.

In MA that is an almost extinct option. Especially if you're looking for something that isn't new within the last month or pure top 40. Target/Walmart carry very little selection of any of those things and there are few dedicated stores left here. It's even worse in RI.
My wife and I have been purely Amazon for this stuff for years now. We don't want to be but that's the only viable method.
