I've been working for a books/music/movies/games chain for the last two years.

Not being a jerk, but really? You didn't see that coming? It's like they made a store that sold everything people no longer buy in stores.

Huh? I still buy all my books/music/movies and games in stores as do most people (with the possible exception of music), so that's not it. If it wasn't a chain store, that was it.....

I guess amazon....steam...origin....netflix.....itunes.... are all just passing phases?
Seriously, I don't even know if there is a bookstore left in town, except the ones that are also coffee shops.

Yeah, I've known we were going to close for a while now, just not when. Corporate was shocked at our lack of surprise.

I didn't say that people didn't also buy things online, but brick and mortar, particularly for games isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
