Bent dynamo control panel
« on: June 03, 2013, 04:58:36 pm »
I've got a bent Dynamo sheet metal control panel.  Any suggestions to make it workable?  I got a suggestion to use another metal piece over top of it, or a piece of wood.  That the best method?  The bend is slight, more of a dent.  Would just bondo'ing the thing be the best option?

All depends on how bad it is. You can use bondo (that is its main purpose) If its a shallow dent. If its relatively deep you could pop it out like they would on a car.

Hard to give accurate advice without a pic 😄

If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Definitely a pic would help.
Does the dent fall in an area where something is to be mounted? Cause if its bad and you just bondo the top, it will look good up top but whatever gets mounted there, like say a joystick may not be straight.

You could basically get it straight with a ball peen hammer and a good solid metal surface and then bondo to make it all nicey nice.

Looks a lot like Malenko's but with some dents...looks like someone took a bat to it a few times.

That's a lot of holes. I guess the lighter the CP the faster the game runs, 😉
