Model 2 gameplay video on my cab
Fursphere:
Makes sense. Its the only place I can see on the control panel that would "work" for that feature too.

From what I remember the gearshift changes gears between forwards and reverse (duh), you've got pedal for acceleration (which is really odd for a tank) the yoke rotates left and right to steer and the whole thing moves forwards/back to adjust the turret height. That bit isn't spring loaded though, so you set the height and can leave it there. That's the issue you guys are going to run into. Probably the easiest fix is to use a paddle controller.

I think I will change it to the paddle shifter. I hate that I have to let go of the steering wheel (and missile button) to move the turret. Thanks for the idea.
Howard_Casto:
Well that's probably not going to work. I didn't mean a paddle shifter (which is digital and probably not precise enough) I meant a paddle controller... you know, like pong?

Looking good :applaud:

That setup looks great, but I must complain about standing and playing racing games. I've had 3 upright driving cabinets. 1 was monster truck game I never liked at all. One was outrun which I enjoyed quite a bit. But the one I really loved was Racin' Fury. The driving was fantastic, but I really grew tired of standing on one foot while feathering the pedals. When you are playing an upright racing game, I found it difficult to really work on my scores because after about 5 games, I get really sore on that left foot and the muscles toward the front of the right calf. Right now I'm considering a dual sitdown racer (Sega Outrunners) with model 2 emulators in both networked.
