Also, can anyone suggest a program that logs exactly what a program is doing in the background.  I'd like to figure out what's going on while the program is running and why is failing on the 64-bit version of XP only.

Thanks!

Microsoft has a ton of tools that are usually included with a visual studio suite.  Spy++  ddespy, processviewer, ect...

Tried that too.  It did not work.  I even used a mount point to place the file on another drive.  No dice. The program does not give enough info and windows does not log anything in the event viewer.

I was doing some research and came across a troubleshooting URL for this game:
http://guide4games.com/index.php/fixes/street-fighter-x-tekken-pc-crashes-crash-to-desktop-ctd-freezes-low-fps-games-for-windows-live-issues-connection-problem-errors-and-fixes

There were two things on there that caught my eye:

* Perhaps the game is writing to the wrong location?  XP 32 and XP 64 are different.  Maybe it should be installed without the (x86) in the directory structure? I will try this tonight.32bit – C:\Program Files\
64bit – C:\Program Files (x86)\

* Running the game in compatibility with Windows XP SP3.
Food for thought.

If you have installed the latest Windows Update and are experiencing problems running the game, you may need to install the following Vista update (KB971512): Click to download the update for Windows Vista (64-bit).
