Street Fighter x Tekken failing to save on Win XP 64-bit only.

DeLuSioNal29: Hi all, Has anyone successfully gotten Street Fighter x Tekken working properly on Windows XP 64-bit? It seems to install and run fine, but it won't save. (GFWL is running fine and connects to the Games For Windows Live server). The game has also been updated through GFWL so it is the latest version. I just get an error saying, "Cannot find saved data. Would you like to create new save data?". Yes/No. I select Yes and then get an error, "Failed to Save". And then it repeats the "Cannot find save data" message with the yes/no prompt. Endless loop! :timebomb: I successfully ran this game on my Windows 7 64-bit system, and my Windows XP 32-bit OS, so I know my installation files are OK. But I'm having trouble on my Windows XP 64-bit system. Anyone else experiencing this? DeLuSioNaL29
ArcadeBliss: I am not alone in the world. I have the same problem and have not found an answer. I posted on the cap capcom unity forum without any luck. Hope this post generates some answers. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Endprodukt: Same problem, no answer.
Howard_Casto: Could it be a file permissions issue? I would check around to find out where the game is supposed to save and manually make a save file. You can probably download one off the net. Also if there is an existing file, right-click on it and make sure it isn't set to read only.
DeLuSioNal29: I'd be interested in seeing those links on the Capcom forums. Can you guys paste them below please? As for the file permissions: I thought it was the same thing. I tried on my last install and can't recall exactly what I did to change the write access, but it didn't work. I also grabbed my save files from my PC with the Windows 7 64-bit OS and it didn't help either. Last but not least I tried NOT connecting to GFWL (very simple to do, see video below) D
