This looks like it might be  a good place to get one.

It's hard to say.  The latter certainly has a higher retail price tag, but needs to be closer to the screen at any given screen size than the 410w.  The 450 also requires more distance between the projector and the screen edge, which means that rooms with lower ceilings will reduce the size of the image more than the 410.  The 410 is capable of larger images as well.  Neither has an optical zoom function, so wherever it comes into focus at the desired size, is pretty much exactly where the projector will need to be installed.  Both have digital zoom, so the projector can be placed at a point of providing a larger picture than desired, and the image size reduced at the cost of brightness and resolution (really not desirable).  The 450 boasts more light output, but a shorter lamp life, and much higher power consumption. The increased angle on the 450 may also produce a focus that is less even than the 410.

I used a 2000 lumen projector in a darkened room (the only real way to view a projected image) for a number of years and it was 21' from the screen.  I'm curious to see how much difference there is with a lens arrangement like this, at a much shorter distance.

So it really boils down to what your needs are.  The 450 includes the wall mount, frankly because it needs one.  There are not many other ways to use it, as it was designed with that application in mind.  The 410 still needs to be close, but is probably a bit more versatile.  Regardless, these have been out of production for a while, so it's hard to tell whether they even have any more to offer.

The 410 is still in stock. Just ordered one!

It's in stock again.  Looks like they found some more.  Better get 'em quick!

Mine just showed up, so I had to plug it in quick to take a look.    It looks like new and the lamp hours counter showed zero, but they could have reset it.  Crazy aspheric lens on the thing, huge, bright picture, a bit of curvature distortion at the top likely due to the lens design.  Might be able to fix this, but I don't know yet.  You will need to place this very near the floor or ceiling.  Very large images will need very tall walls, but not as tall as the 450 design.  The crazy thing about it is the size and brightness of the image from just a couple feet away.  Perfect for a standalone, projection based cockpit a few feet from the screen.    Add a motion base to the whole thing and it would be crazy cool.

I haven't hooked up a source to it yet, but for the price, I'm very impressed.  It's a perfectly portable-sized unit for gaming parties, movie night, etc.  I'll post more once I have a chance to run some different sources through it, but I'd be comfortable recommending that anyone who isn't bothered by the mounting and distance constraints grab one of these while they are still available.  A bright, 6'++ diagonal image for $200....how can you go wrong? :)
