Any idea how much the PS/2 and USB adapter would cost? I think I can buy an opti-wiz for $15-20. Still, in my book, $60 for a used trackball is way better than $80 for a new trackball.
Looking at the $12-15 range, also keep in mind this is in no way intended to compete with Randy and Andy's more superior interfaces.
These are just simple interfaces that are plug and play so you dont have to butcher a mouse. They are for trackballs only that dont have all the bells and whistles (z-axis, dual t-ball/spinner interface.
I got a working protype, with a few bugs i need to fish out, I will post some preliminary photos of v1. tonight.
These were built to simplify getting a raw trackball up and running.....
I'll be offering these seperately, but mainly with the refurbs i sell, to give my customers more flexibility on their installs.
