Found a special bug or miss on my end on update may 17

When in 2 player mode with the following config file for game.ini here is the video of my error and explanatoin

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to thanks SJAAK on his ongoing efforts on the project. If you need another contribution from my part don't hesitate!

I wanted to also give a status on my build.

I purchased an old beat up and not cheap Donkey Kong JR. (Probably because I am in Canada)

Here is a video of it in my office

So as you can guess I will do the following on this unit

- New paint job with original blue Donkey Kong
- Sanyo EZ 20 audio and video cap kit + inverter mod
- Ridric's graphics will be modified to be more orginal white like the Disney version of the arcade(I will ask Ridric for this)
- Printing will probably done by him to I haven't found a good printer in my region
- 400$ of parts from MikesArcade will be coming in soon to have it as original
- Paint job will be done by trained and Professional painters base coat clear coat and cooked

I also purchased an HP x8400 just like in the video from youtube of the arcade from Disney.

I wanted to point out this sale I will keep my FIFjr arcade for life because all the family plays the game together and we are all on the build project it is one of our first creation using the entire family.

Yeah, I can already see what looks like the colors from the fan-made scans (a bit of pink left in the skin tones, for instance) and the custom instruction panel under the bezel. If there were a larger photograph, you could also check things like the font of Felix's name tag, the shape of the TobiKomi logo, and what colors small holes are filled in with.

Here's a quick comparison I made once.

I actually have the leaked early release Disney version but it doesn't work well on a 4:3 horizontal monitor. Hoping Sjaak's version will be a better fit.

Working on restoration but I don't Know how to remove grime and dirt from the monitor circuit boards I tried compressed air but it doesn't do the trick what can I do?

Heard of pluging in water and soap but surely not a good idea??

frostyfire03530 from the HyperSpin Forums gave me links to the high-quality copies of "I can fix it!" and "I'm gonna wreck it!" from the website. For the rest, I think you would have to un-mix them from the movie audio as best you can. Has anyone asked BadBoyBill how he got his samples from the movie?

Just touching base to see if there has been any progress with Joystick mapping? I have been trying to get my apac to work with no luck.

Could someone post config settings if they have been able to use a joystick or gamepad?

Joystick mapping is working. You need to set it up in the config screen (TAB). Settings depend on the type of joystick you're using, no use in copying someone else's settings...

Hats off again to Sjaak! Awesome job! This is the first weekend in over a month that I have had time to update and play my cab. I did catch one issue in 2 player mode that I thought may have been addressed earlier in the thread. I am running a vertical monitor and have the .ini set to flip=false, cocktail=false but still the 2nd player screen inverts. (upside down). Also, how do you turn the screensaver to off?

Probably a stupid question at this point but fwiw....

I'm going to be at Disneyland today and they have several Fix it Felix cabinets in their arcade. Is there anything I could check on l, get pics of, or get measurements for that would help with anything ?

Have a joystick Question, I looked and couldn't find the answer, so here goes..

1. I control several of my arcades with xbox360 fightsticks (that I've torn apart and use the boards and different buttons with instead of using ipac's) , the pc sees it as xbox 360 madcatz fight stick, how do I enable joystick play and have a button to close the game also.

2. I looked in the config file, and see a place for joystick, but I need to know the button codes it recognizes.

or do I need to use xpadder for this game, so far it will be the only game I will have to use it for on my new FIFjr machine, so I'm trying to avoid using xpadder or joytokey if possible

any help is greatly appreciated!

Try the configuration menu (TAB key). You can change the joystick (it should cycle through all connected sticks/pads) and the buttons. Remember to exit the game after you made your changes!!!

There is no option to quit the game with a joystick button, because it's too easy to accidentely hit one of the buttons. But if you use the joystick boards as a sort of IPac, it makes sense to have one. I'll include that in the next version...

Thank you! I hadnt known about the TAB key, that works! I use the "XBOX 360 GAME" game pad controller (that's the description in FIFJR) I use the back and start button, can you please add these into the button selection please?

I've been running the leaked Disney Codemystics version in my dedicated FiFJr cabinet. I know the high scores are broken on that version but what else does Sjaak's version "fix" over the Codemystics version out there? Just more customizable through DIP settings?
