Who does good board repair/exchange service these days?
« on: November 15, 2012, 12:26:27 pm »
This is not my speedy MsPac from yesterdays post.  I have another MsPac cocktail and I screwed it up putting the daughterboard in the socket on the motherboard backwards and now it won't boot.  This was done after replacing some old, yellow sockets on the motherboard.  I didn't "hack" the board but I did mess it up.  (My definition of "hack" may be different from yours.... :notworthy:)

I'm looking for someone who is fair and comes highly recommended to repair it or swap it out.  I don't mind paying a fair price, just not too much.

I prefer to deal with someone who has treated others on this forum well in the past!

Thanks,
-=T=-

Ya know..... You may have better luck with the fellas over on the KLOV forums.....  Most people here have gone the mame/emulation route, while the people over there are more purists with real boards like yours.   ;)

Duh, thanks.  I've gotten so much good info here recently, this is where I tend to come first, but yes, I'll take it to KLOV.

THANK YOU

These days you can usually buy a Pac board cheaper than the repair services want for an exchange or repair.
