Driving Cab Completed...

(1/6) > >>

Jollywest:
Hi,

I've recently finished a Driving Cab which I have converted from a non-working Cruis'n USA Arcade Machine, Here's a vid;

Thanks for all the useful info I got from BYOAC to sort different aspects of the cab.

If you wish to read more about the project, there is a blog on the conversion here;

I second that, really well done. How does it feel to play those games standing up versus sitting down? Shifting seems to be perfect upright.  :applaud:

Cheers, its taken a while that's for sure.
I had a look back at my eBay feedback the other day and I bought the Cruis'n cab back in September 2011.
It was fun building it but I'm mighty glad its finished.

Thanks, to be honest I would of preferred a Sit-down but space wouldn't permit, as you can probably tell by the vid  ;), but I am really chuffed with the outcome, it turned out a lot better than I expected.
As for the shifter it feels very nice as does the steering, the ffb is really sweet as well .. unbelievably strong!  ;D
