speaker grills

OSCAR:
If you are handy with a router, you could make the grilles right into the speaker board like a lot of games were.  Just some slots cut in the wood with some window screen on the backside.  Then screw down the speakers right over the screen.  Not exactly acoustically transparent, but many games were made this way.

Arcadeshop.com has recently repro'ed the Pac cocktail grilles.  The ones that Radio Shack discontinued were an almost exact match for the original Pac's.  But since the remaining stock of those has nearly dried up, Steve started having his own made up.

Thanks everyone for your advice.  Ive tried two radioshacks and one local automotice supply shop today with no luck.  I will take the drive this weekend to a pep-boys and a audio shop and see what I can find.
