speaker grills
cheezeflap:
Does anyone know of a good place to buy speaker grills? I was looking at the ones listed here: http://www.wicothesource.com/new2/pages/page15.htm , but they have a $25 minimum order and don't sell anything else usefull to me.
JoyMonkey:
Try your local Radioshack. If you're lucky they'll have some old stock grills for $0.97. I got a bunch of rectangular grills at Radioshack like this, they work perfectly on cocktail cabs.
If you don't see what you want on the shelves, ask if they've any old stuff out back. I used to work at a RShack and we had a room full of old stock (mostly speakers and grills) that wasn't deemed shelveable.

When I called Wico they gave me the name of a local place that sold the exact same speaker grilles. You may want to call them and see if such a place exists in your area.

I too was on the neverending quest for speaker grills. I think I must have hit every Radio Shack and audio place in town, then I was told to check out PepBoys Automotive Center, after that...I was finally able to find what I had been looking for. If you have one in your area, you might want to give them a try.

I'll tell you what I did... I went to Home Depot (or Lowes?) and bought 2 drainage grills. Not the ugly one you might think... these where 2 very think, lightweight grills... they really look beautiful. I spray painted them black.
Total cost: $2
