This would be really cool to see in a sit-down version... with working bike pedals, to control the speed.

Maybe someone could build a custom converter board, to translate pedal speed into analog pot values.  Or maybe some sort of mechanical or air pressure thing... for direct transmission.

A ringing bell on the handlebars.  Tire Spoke noise maker.  Analog controlled air blower to simulate wind. Possible terrain simulation, with random vibrations.  Pre-recorded bike sounds?  or just using the bikes assembly as is.

Lol that was an explosion of fun ideas. I have to admit I have thought of adding the bike frame and pedals for speed.

Picked up some history on this cab over at KLOV last night, turns out one of the members there liberated it from some guys garage after 10 years of sitting doing nothing. Great news for me as that means a lot less wear and tear on the controls and hardware.

Stripping it down you can see that cab has hardly seen a drop of moisture in its 29 years of life

Removed the handlebars and took a look at the gearing, it looks to be in great condition, no need for new cogs or springs

Looking at the coin counter the history seems to line up with the numbers, pretty light use

Coin mechs are all in great condition, the doors need some refinishing but again very very light wear and tear

So far so good :))

Um, Kirk, you don't have any coin mechs. ;)

If you plan on coin op use, might try to track down a coin bucket too (unless you've got one that just isn't pictured).

It's nice you don't have to worry about moisture issues.

Neph's right about the missing coin mechs. If you want some used $25 ones, let me know and I'll send you a couple.
