I guess Spocks are good for something. :dunno

This weekend I plan to get started into the wood and get this puppy looking straight and clean.

I plan to completely strip the cab down to it's bare bones and tag n bag everything, then go at the wood removing all vinyl and old paint that's flaking or rough, bubbling etc.

Anyone got any tried and tested tips they want to share on particleboard ding repairs? I see some guys using wood hardener, that;'s not something I have ever used before, is that for moisture damaged wood?

Looking forward to this one. One of my favorite games. It was cool seeing it in your garage, patiently waiting it's turn.

Besides the wood, you were having monitor issues, correct?

Yeah man it's the original monitor, currently it doesn't fire up when the game does, no buzz or hum from the tube or gun, first thing I am going to do is hose the control board and monitor down with water to get all the old dust and junk off. Could be a cracked solder on the board, might be 28 years of crap, probably both and then some.
