The USB interface supports left and right mouse buttons. Suitable wires with contacts are contained in the "Mini-PAC Extension harness Pack" which can be ordered in the Mini-PAC section of our store.
The black wire shown arrowed in the above picture is not used by the trackball. This is the left button connection.
The unused contact next to this is the right button connection..
The COM terminals of the mouse button switches should be connected to a convenient ground point (Eg an I-PAC ground, or PC casing).

So far I got it too but if the wires are not used then why are they there and entering into the housing of the trackball, besides the unused whire next to the black one is also a bit vague because is it the one above or the one under it. I have a look at it again tmrw, but realy this is not very clear to me.

Ok figured out the connections for the trackball :applaud: The black one leeds to another connector where it is no longer connected. And what you can't see on the picture is the second row of pins/wires. so undr the black one there is an unused pin.

Some more pictures of my progres this weekend. Only some small trimming to be done and then I'm good to sand, clean and spray.
