Ok thanks for the input.
Another stupid question maybe. I got these plates cut to build the CP. Now I wonder how do I make these outside curves exactly the same as i drawn them in my ACAD drawings? I got them printed on real size. But if you tape the paper on the panel that might work for cutting holes but when you have to make round shapes with a jiggsaw the paper will not stay there. So wondering how you guys did this. I thought about drawing the shapes with pencil on the wood but thats not exact science. And it should be right because otherwise the artwork will not match.
Any tips are appreciated.

I also decided to do the artwork to mach an 8 button PP control pannel. To many newer indie games requere 8 buttons.

Apparently the trim flange for my trackball got missing. The person from arcadeshop.de explained me that it is no longer included in the standard package. Luckely the guy behind the shop reasured me he would send the missing part free of charge. Thanks to him for the great service.
I made alot of progress this weekend. Most parts of the cabinet are finished and installed. I did have some misfortune with the backdoors tough. First one I dropped right on the corner so it got realy busted. Second door I made I measured wrong so it was a missmatch. Third and fourth where a perfect fit.
Also finished the admin panel and installed it.
I started work on the new controlpanel. Got all the wood cut. I figured out that I want the top part to go open and decided I would use a pianohinge for that. Still have to figure out if i want to countersick this hinge so that the panel is nice and flat against the box, but will get there.
In the meantime I figured out that making an arcade is very time consuming but i'm having alot of fun doing it and seeing the progress so far is very satisfying. Even the wife seems very impressed with my work so far. The amount of mdf dust I have collected is also taking enourmous proportions :o

I redone my CP artwork to mach the 8 player buttons. I also moved the mouse buttons more to the middle. I think it looks nice.
I already got the panel cut and drilled, broke one time the bottom layer so had to redo that. But in the end it turned out as I wanted. This weekend I will continue work and I hope I can put all drilling grinding and cutting behind me and start painting next week.
I decided to go with spray painting, hope it turns out good.
Also had to order a couple of extra buttons because I forgot to count the mouse buttons. Anyone know where I have to connect the mouse buttons to the U track. The explaination on the side is not very clear. I got it with an usb interface but all the wires are connected and going inside of the trackball. I'm i supposed to cut the wires?
I have also found a nice name for my cabinet. I will call it inspired, because it was this site and all the people that inspired me to make this. Also all the classic mame games are an inspiration to modern gaming. Will have to redo the marquee artwork to incorporate the new name. Kind of a problem here, but will see.
