Looking for Shooting Gallery Help
« on: September 09, 2012, 10:59:08 pm »
Im interested in making a shooting gallery like this . The guns that I have seen used look to be just like the ones sold by HAPPs but I can't seem to find the targest anywhere ( I'm sure I'd do better if I actually new what to call them). I'd appreciate any info I can get on this. Thank you.

I think most of them are old and have pretty simple electronics, i.e. just a IR LED in the gun and a photodiode at the target(s) that picks up the light beam from the gun. Just like a TV and remote except for that it probably is just an short on/off signal from the gun, not a serial burst as from the remote controller.
Should be pretty simple and fun to build =)
