Funny... I always find it completely expected, but VERY laughable, when oldsters think "their time" is the best time. Anything after that... is garbage.

This is all I was trying to get across, and the rest of your explanation is irrelevant. Maybe YOU are more objective in your old age, but on the whole, young and old are pretty much tied for 1st place in the "don't think anything outside of 'their time' is any good" department.
