Help - another trackball setup thread
« on: May 06, 2012, 12:48:10 pm »
Yep, another trackball thread.. I've searched but cant seem to work this out.  I have a wireless trackball thats good enough to use for games - thing is I just cant get it to work in mame.  I've tried various suggestions & altered the mame ini file and the game ini files but no luck.

Take Tehkan World Cup for example, I can get some movement but it seems to be trying to either go in several directions at once.  I've tried setting the x&y axis several times but it doesn't seem to help.  Am I missing something here?  I would have thought It would be as simple as setting it up as a mouse, seeing as thats all it basically is.

I have an ultrastick360 and a spinner on my system - could these be causing trouble?  I know the trackball isn't faulty or anything like that.
