Well done, an excellent build and a great way to learn some lessons before thowing yourself into a bigger cab. In fact you'll probably find a bigger cab easier in many aspects due to the tiny scale you were forced to work at on this build.

Looking at your image closely, the top two seem connected and I would make a guess that these are the switch and the two lower corner contacts are the common/ground.
You need to power up the unit and try putting a piece of wire between the top and bottom contacts to see if it works.

This is a super fiddly job but the end results can be great.
