Oh for gods sake you guys are arguing over the most pointless of points. Here's maybe a fresh topic of conversation.....and maybe it's been dealt with in the comics and I'm just unaware.....but it did seem like the alien army was rather weak.....for being such an advanced race of beings. Was that Chinturi army...or however it's spelled....in the comics? AFWIW.....I think Captain America is adequately named/titled....I mean wtf else are you going to call him? Gi Joe? |

Gi Joe? --- End quote --- Something that doesn't suck. And also give him a costume to match. Also maybe make him not act like a doe eyed cub scout, lol. But if you could even manage the first two you'd be well on your way. Yeah, the army was pretty weak. I mean, there were only, what, six Avengers, three of whom had virtually no means of mobility so they just had to stay and fight in one spot. The Aliens were totally taken down permanently by punches from the presumably strong, but apparently not supernaturally strong Black Widow. So, like, as soon as the Armed Forces showed up, with a few hundred thousand soldiers with guns and tanks and jets with missiles, etc . . . like, the Aliens would have been ---fouled up beyond all recognition---. |

What, no one likes the "old fashioned" attitude that Cap has? Don't you remember Coulson's line, "People might want a little old fashioned"? Read this, it explains that better than I could. But all to our own, I wont force my ideas on you. |

Its like the droid army in Star Wars, they are easy to kill but they outnumber you, like a lot. |

I dunno about that. Seems like after the first giant flying worm thing was taken down the whole force got called in. Certainly when Stark crossed over it didn't seem like there were too many of them waiting for their turn. Also, why is every diabolical alien species hive-based? |
