MK2 Mame
« on: February 17, 2012, 01:49:42 pm »
Hello everyone im new here, been lurking for a long time. Last weekend my wife surprised me with a dedicated MK2 Cab. I'd say its a 7.5/10. Missing the MK2 marquee, and it has UMK3 installed. I'll be getting the original marquee, and I want to convert to Mame without destroying anything in the cabinet.

Things I already have for Mame:
Computer, Ipac, speakers, buttons, joysticks, and the switches, and I think thats it.

So I will need an arcade VGA card, and Roms (not asking for any).

I dont have any pics here on my work computer, but you can check out my youtube channel if you would like to see it.

I came home from the hardware store and it was in my living room! I was gone for maybe 15 mins. So she must have had a truck waiting around the corner or something.

I cant wait to get the pics up.

I have a wells gardner K7000. Regarding the Arcade VGA card, I also need to buy the breakout cable?

Yeah just buy the breakout cable. You could make your own, but after the hassle and time, just buy the cable.
Where's my gold star :P
