Pandora's Box - Joystick Fit For A King

This was one of those see if i could do it projects and plus I just got bored.

Basic xbox controller hack (the part I wanted to see if i could make work)
Birchwood & some stain
Happs Buttons & Stick and some Leds

It's not your normal flat lap type stick I know, just figured I'd do something different from the norm.

Works great though.  Let me know what you think.

Ditch the LEDs and it looks great.

What PBJ said.  If you're feeling really adventurous, you could convert the buttons to have matching wooden tops - that would be slick.  And I like your build.  It's got a serious case of individuality that you pulled of well.

I like the design and the window that shows the interior.  The outside LEDs are personal preference.  I do not love them but if you like them it is fine as it is your control panel.  :applaud: :applaud:

very regal!

would look great with clear buttons and matching wood grain inserts.  you could buy just one to see if it works.

but also looks great as is, well done!

Nice!

You might consider using some of those LED candle flicker LED's instead of the blue for lighting the inside. After all, they used candle light back then  ;)
