Transformers was a fun cartoon and set of toys, growing up. But seeing the previews for the movies, and it turned me off. The CGI is horrible, horrible camera work. Everything was a blurry dark mess, and it all looked pathetic.
When it was on DVD, a friend played it for his kids, and I was so un-interested and non-captivated, that I pretty much ignored it.
Todays Re-Makes are pretty much train wrecks. Then again, most remakes are.
And because of that... it would be far better to use the source materials.
In this case, a pin based on the original Transformers cartoons would be far more epic than the modern movie crap. Same would have been true for Tron.
The fact that Stern produced a mini-movie shows incredible waste of money. Guess who pays for it? Yup... anyone who buys the machine. That money could have been better spent elsewhere.
A video of the game working, explaining the shots, etc.. like how it used to be done, is a far better tool to captivate interest and sales. (this time with internet, it would be more impactful, than sending out limited vcr tapes) Do they really think a this cheezy vid is going to get people to pre-order?

ANYONE who claims to LOVE pinball but won't even TRY a particular game ONCE because of the THEME or the ARTWORK or the DESIGNER or the MANUFACTURER is just a HYPOCRITICAL IDIOT whose words fall on the DEAF ears of true pinball fans.
If you are REALLY that MISERABLE in your life then be a MAN and CHANGE IT or do us a favor and END IT by YOUR OWN HAND!
