Eh, I'm going to agree that the theme is too late. Maybe it's not 20 years too late, but it's pretty late given that three movies came out (that got progressively worse) before the machine hit. At this point I think it would have been best to move on to another theme.

Here's hoping it's good. I think Tron is quite a bit of fun and has its fair share of challenging shots, and Gomez is responsible for Lord of the Rings...so there's some hope for a good game.

I heard Tron is pretty fun.  I don't think the theme is too late at all, better than Tron which was based on 2 crappy movies 20 years apart.  Wizard of Oz, and Rolling Stones, now THOSE are 20 year too late themes

Xiaou, you capitalize words in the middle of a sentence that aren't proper nouns. I don't think you're qualified to be giving English lessons.

When I read Stern was releasing a Tron 2 themed pin after the movie was already gone from the theaters and out on DVD, I swore they were out of their minds. I felt the hype was over and it was too late. The pin still seemed to generate a ton of interest and pre-orders.
I guess their timeline is OK, to the point where I no longer think its going to affect the sales of Transformers.

Wizard Of Oz is timeless at this point. What has it been, 70 years? Its polarizing though. A lot of guys think its a very lame theme, including me. Guys on RGP are excited about rumors of a Muppets pin, which sounds about as douchey to me as WOZ. Its a crazy market.

Well TRON is getting a 3rd movie, so Stern will probably get another run on the machines at that time. As for Transformers, I guess they'll keep pumping them out as they're really successful.

Still...I want my Ghostbusters, and I don't care how late it is. :(
