First build something a bit different
terrible1:
well that is where i have got to so far. i was using a nettop (acer revo) but hyperspin wouldn't run on it really at all so i upgraded to a itx board with a i3 cpu. Now it will fit in the cabinet but ive not got round to mounting it properly yet. Ill get some more photos for you lot soon and try and get the pc mounted up. One problem i have is the monitor does not power its self on when you plug it in. You need to press power buton first which is on the front behind my perspex  so i may end up with using another monitor i have instead. Anyway been having fun playing games on it all evening :)

Made little progress in-between playing games :) started to mount the pc hardware properly.
BurgerKingDiamond:
that looks similar to the mobo I put in my NES pc. it runs hyperspin a little slowly but its passable. mine came with a graphics card as well, but i couldnt fit it in the case. with the onboard graphics it can play 2-d ps1 games and some 3-d stuff (ocarina of time and crash bandicoot play bascially perfectly.)

Well mine runs alright with the on board graphics but I'm still going to put a better graphics card in just to boost things a bit.
Anyway on to progress, I read a post about modifying micro switches to get a better feeling out of them. So I took one of mine apart which are just press fitted together, and bent the NC connector to make the throw of the switch less. They work pretty well and hardly have any click which I was more pleased with. Here's a couple photos...
So now I'm waiting to get my new micro atx power supply so o can get everything mounted up and get a start on finishing off the software.
