The final piece of the puzzle has arrived, the artwork.

It's currently under some heavy books to flatten out as it has been in a delivery tube from the USA for 10 days or so.

I'll get some pictures when I finish work later, and apply them to the cabinet.

The mini Gauntlet arcade, in the mini man cave, next to the mini-mini arcade.  And some inspirational reading...

The whole thing is damn great, but I especially love the shape and the control panel. +1 on building another one that can be connected to the first one to get some two-player action.

It's almost a pity so much of your mirror-finish is covered by the artwork... getting a smooth finish is such a lot of work.

Well chaps, it has been a long time.  I've got plenty of hours playing the mini arcade under my belt, although the man cave is getting a bit chilly now winter is here!

Shaun, the chap who helped out with the original woodwork, has built another cabinet to the same dimensions.  It's just the shell at the moment, and I'll be going through exactly the same process to build it as the first.  Same components and front end etc.  The only difference is that this will have a Gauntlet II marquee.

I won't bore you with the build as it's the same as the last one and you can read about that in the blog on my signature.  But I'll be sure to pop back when it's finished and post a nice photo of the 2 cabinets side by side.
