Hi All,
I just posted a question to Jukecade on this - more specific to his program - but wanted to ask a more general question.
I have a MAME cabinet with the "std" button layout (7 buttons per joystick, spinner, trackball and some admin buttons - similar to the Woody). I'd really like to use some jukebox software that:
1. Has some really good skins (blue/black would match my cab) and an intuitive interface (for all users, not just me)
2. Can pull files off of a networked drive that contains my iTunes library
3. Control the juke with the existing buttons on the cab
This would be the ultimate because then I would have ONE managed library (in iTunes on my networked PC in another room) and the juke would run as if the files were local on the MAME cabinet. Sure, I could convert all of the mp4 files to mp3 and load them on the MAME cab's drive, but then if new songs were added to the library, the maintenance because more difficult.
I'm also assuming in this scenario that I would need iTunes native on the cab to be my "player". I'm not aware of any jukes that use iTunes - but I'm also sure this would be a common request due to the popularity of iTunes.
Any suggestions from those of you who have iTunes, networked to your library and controlled them via your existing MAME cab buttons?
Thanks for any help you can provide...
