Screen Resolution
« on: November 17, 2010, 04:09:53 pm »
hello everyone, so far my cabinet build is going ok. Im working on the computer part first, trying to get it right before i begin the cabinet.
Ive noticed that my resolution when i run mame is horrible....

i tried my roms on my work computer with the same monitor and its fine. I even deleted mame folder and reloaded a new one and still same results.
Where do i make adjustments for this? Please. thanks

What kind of monitor do you have?

If possible, please provide some general specs of both computers - the work and the home - and if you know the video card in each, and the resolution you have the OS set to, all the better.

SiS chipsets are horrible and pain inducing. Find/buy a video card. Anything will be better than this.

Lol ok, it came with the PC. I'll get on that and see if that helps.
I'm just wondering what the games should look like and if my expectations are too high. The screen that loads before the game starts that ask you to type ok is sharp but once the games start not very good at all.

What is the game you are trying that looks so bad or do they all look bad?
