Pinball Makeover Gottlieb The Games to Mudd Madness
« on: October 13, 2010, 12:08:18 am »
I had on old Gottlieb The Games and it needed some work. No sound, wrecked playfield so I had an idea. I made up some designs and digitally printed a new playfield for it. I scanned the playfeild light location from the manual and drew over it in corel draw to line every up. I used clear vinyl for the clear coat ( just in case I wanted to remove it ). Im in the process now of custom sound. Im using a bootunes controller and micro switches with the aid of amplified speakers. Heres some pics so far:

I love this idea!

Are you going to cut out the holes over the inserts, or does enough light get through from underneath to light up the replacement artwork?  I'd be worried about the ball jumping around if the inserts weren't level with the playfield.

I used translucent vinyl for the play field. I think it looks pretty good.

hate to open up a 2month old thread, but was wondering if anybody knows where to find some info on "The Games" pinball? I tried IPMD, but couldn't seem to find anything. There is one in my area for sale and would like a little info before I pursue it.

EDIT:
N/M. It was under Mylstar.
