dead IPAC?

i cant seem to get this thing to work.
the k/b works, ipac wont.
with the ipac plugged in and the k/b in the passthrough, the lights flicker , but the power light doesnt stay on. and then neither work after boot

 ???

Get in touch with Andy Warne, seems like a hardware problem, your Ipac may be dead.

ok, now the opti is killing me.
i took my cp off and plugged it in the my comp in my room.

ipac still dont work, but now the opti wont install. my other comp it did it all automatically, on this one, it says it cant find any compatible driver and i have to force the HID comliant mouse. which is what the other comp uses, but it wont work on mine. says device cannot be started.

i have a 3" happ, 1 oscar spinner and 2 happ optical rotaries.
the tball is wired normally, the spinner a #1 rotary share the X1/X2 rotary ports, and the #2 rotary uses the Y1/Y2 rotary ports. the jumper is on 1 player. i used the trackball on the other comp, but have been trying to get the spinner/rotary joys to work....
