U2000 playing blind, CLICKING!!
« on: January 06, 2014, 05:15:50 pm »
On New Years Eve just before party started I decided to screw with remote board to improve screen.  When putting board back I touch monitor frame and screen went blank.  Check hot in and out of board and test good.  What is next check as clicking leaves me to believe it is in shutdown.  Any help is appreciated as have read post on U200/U5000/K7400/K7500 amd it seems to bounce all over.  As a heads up to others, when you have had a few drinks on New Years, let the games be and don't touch them.

Thanks
Jason

check your B+ voltage. You might have a voltage regulator problem.

rule #2 of BOYAC... "if it works don't mess with it."

if the chassis is clicking that usually means your H.O.T is shorted.

if you are in the US and need it fixed you are welcome to send it in for repair.
