I just came across this Jtag Exploit for the 360 and others have claimed their running emu's on the 360 like mame.
anyone running it with success?
I never even heard of this until today but mame on the 360 has been on my mind since launch becuase it would handle and do so much more then the regular xbox becuase of the huge ram difference..

you need an older unupdated 360, so you can back up and patch the NAND, they may have way around it, but I havent paid a lot of attention since I play MAME on my cab. but I know if you do it, you cant go on live ev4r!
let chad google it and post up a better answer

I think the law of Chadtower is that once you invoke his google abilities, they do not get used on a thread.
so theres like 12,000 threads we missed?

Actually I'd just heard about this before. The JTAG exploit replies on an older version of the Dashboard with a flaw in it. Microsoft had actually updated the Dashboard before the JTAG exploit was ever announced. You can look into it but sufficent it to say, if your 360 is running the latest version of the Dashboard it won't be capable of using this exploit.
Personally, I'm leaning towards staying ligit on my 360. I mostly play more 'Obscure' games. Sure if you pirate Modern Warfare 2 it will hardly put a dent in sales, however for Pinball Hall Of Fame, Outrun Online Arcade, and other arcade ports and cool stuff coming out, I want to make sure the companies get paid for this to ensure they will do it more often. :)
