Title: Best wood for monitor shelf?
Post by: MLew on January 15, 2010, 05:12:20 pm
Building a new monitor shelf, and was wondering the best kind of wood to get to support a 25 in. arcade monitor? Could I use 2x4 for the braces holding the shelf base? The last thing I want is for my monitor to crash through a poor shelf!   :o

3/4" plywood would be good...as would 3/4" mdf...

Thanks! I ended going with 3/4 in. Plywood. Seems real sturdy.
