I have one computer set up with Mame OSX, and if I hit ESC while playing a game, the program quits completely, thus returning to the front end. On my new computer, ESC just quits the running game, and Mame OSX stays open as the front most application. You need to click or tab to the frontend to reactivate that. I don't know what I did on the old computer to have it work like this.
Now I was wondering how I can set up Mame (OSX) to quit on ESC. Is it a Mame thing or a specific Mame OSX thing. Anybody know what to search for?

It sounds OS X-ish, but it could be the specific mame build you're using.... Which mame are you using?
I know of two current ones: SDLmame and MameOSX. I'm pretty sure SDLmame wouldn't do like you say, but I don't have OS X, so... :dunno

I think it's an OS X thing... In macmame I can never seem to cutomize "cancel UI" like I can in mame32. Macmame os9 versions are the ultimate for a "dedicated" (1 game only) mame but generally suck in comparason to windows mame for playing multiple games from a list.
