Hey maybe someone can help me out. I recently refurbished a Punch-Out!! Arcade machine. I replaced all capacitors and the picture looked clear and crisp. Only on the lower monitor there is a little scrambling of the picture in the corners and then it goes away. It almost looks like when you need to run tracking on a VHS tape to get the dirt off. Does anyone know of a solution to fix this? Here are two photos I took. It was hard to catch it because it happens so fast.
You can see the scrambling starting to happen right on the lower turnbuckle here.

hard to tell from the photos but that looks more like a problem with the game pcb to me...like a graphical glitch...could check the game roms(specifically the one or ones that store the graphics) and if bad re-write them if you have a programmer...i'm not exactly an expert though so feel free to get a second opinion ;)

Since PO utilizes 2 monitors try using the other one to verify the problem indeed exists on the game PCB.

My initial guess would be a pcb glitch as well.
Like mentioned above.... just switch the video inputs from the top monitor to the bottom monitor and see if it's still there.
A monitor problem would cause the graphics to be messed up plum top to bottom, left to right, etc across the entire screen. Not just a select few specific graphics or spots.

It looks pretty minor - definitely not a monitor fault - are you sure it's a screwup and not a "bug" in the game code?

I switched monitors and the glitch was on the top not the bottom monitor. The weird thing is that it just started to happen a little while ago. I sprayed connector with cleaner and the board with cleaner and it still is doing the graphical glitch.

Then it's coming from the game pcb.
