I am having a problem starting all Play Choice 10 games. When I select the game it loads. When I hit the credit button the playing time increments, but I cannot start any of the games. My player 1 start button, button 1 do nothing. The time just ticks down.

Playchoice has a different button config than regular Mame games...I hated the setup, and i just got rid of them...the VS. games pretty much cover most of those games...Hit the tab key and see what buttons are what and work around it...

Hi there.
In playchoice games hit tab and go into the Input (this game) menu and look for for the mapping for the channel select and the enter key; you can map the enter key to what ever key you like; just make sure they're different. Also look for the mappings on Game select and Start; they're different to other mame games.
Once you know your mappings here is what you do. Make sure the game you want is selected (only one in the top of the list) and hit the enter key; if not use the Channel Select key to do so. Use the Game Select key to choose the game option and then hit the Start key. That's it.

Thanks for the advice, I've made some progress but still need a little help.
Here is what I got,
Enter (default mapping to -) brings up the screen where you can move the curosor to 1 player or 2 players
i.e.
-> 1 player
2 players
Game select (default mapping to 1) moves the cursor back and forth between 1 player and 2 players
Start (default mapping to 2) actually selects 1 player or 2 players and starts the game.

I remapped,
Enter to - or Joy 1 button 0 (This works no problems)
Game Select to 1 or Joy 1 up, Joy 1 down (Doesn't work)
Start to 2 or Joy 1 button 0 (Doesn't work)

If I change Game Select and Start to say buttons 5 and 6 then it works. But it isn't as intuitive as moving the joy stick up and down to move the cursor up and down or hitting the 1st button to select.
