I'm tempted by a Gorgar. This would be my first pin.
Advice?

I don't think he'll run into that issue with the art in Canada as much as in Texas.
Gorgar is a "high ticket" pin for that era but I never really saw why. It's a good game but not so much better than its peers that it's a $1,500 game.

GOOOOOOOORGAR!!!
Awesome game. Do you have any details on the condition of it?
-
Claims "excellent" on both playfield and backglass. Based on photos, I'd have to agree. There ARE some cracks in the backglass art here and there, but pretty minor. And minor wear on playfield. THe seller is pretty well known among our group of collectors here.
I found a RGP post somewhere by Googling that claims the value is $600 to $900. ??

That seems to be the right range depending on how it plays and in that condition.

:lol :laugh2:
WOW, that promo was so cheesey, and about 2:41 longer than it really needed to be.

I agree. It is somewhat fun to play but there is nothing that stands out from the rest except maybe the snakepit magnet. I imagine it occasionally sells higher because it was the first pin with speech and I am sure that has some sort of nostalgia for many pin owners.

That promo was hilarious!
The narrator is so serious too. It speaks seven words but it will change the face of pinball forever, and now it's not Man vs machine, it's man vs monster!
