I noticed on some Touch Screen Jukeboxes people have some touch screen games.... I honestly cannot think of any... wondering if we can get a list and possibly future sticky a thread related to "touch screen games" (the PC games on mame cabinet is a great stickied thread!)
-
I want to second this one. I recently built a touchscreen jukebox (project/pictures coming soon) and would love to know the following:
Touchscreen games in mame working:
Megatouch 6,
Touchmaster 8000, (ANY OTHERS?).
Touchscreen PC games that do not require a keyboard AT ALL (maybe an escape key for an FE, but that's it).
-
11-ball has got to be my all time favorite.
-
Did you try a search on the forums? There are a few threads about touchscreen games on here.
-
Yeah there are and they list a grand total of something like 7 games, but it's split between the two threads. Maybe if I have more time tonight I'll start one and consolidate it.

So I can't help too much, as for mame, I have all the Touchmaster games loaded, I usually play 3k, 5k, or 8k but there's some slight differences there so you might want to try them
for others, I found a cool program called download helper (sorry no link, just google it)
it's an addon to firefox and it allows you to rip flash games (and other media) off the web. using this, you can get a .swf file of any flash game that requires only a mouse to play and put it on your machine. a few tweaks to whichever front end you use and you can launch them with the push of a button. I have mine set up in xlobby under a games menu, works very well
Hope that helps

I have gotten just about all the Megatouch and Touchmaster series games working, but the biggest thing to look into that will add tons of games are some of the PopCap and Gamehouse type games. Many of those play great on a touchscreen.
There are a few good ones that require putting in a name or something, so keep that in mind.
Think outside the box for game sources........ and TRY them.

I tried a few Pop Cap games and found several of them really fun. I decided to splurge, and bought the 44 game package for $99. I tried all the games, and made a list showing touch screen compatability.
Please note that most of the games require a player name to be entered, but after that don't require keyboard input. I also didn't play all the way through any of them, so there are some modes and levels that I didn't try. Consider this list a starting point, and not the final word.

There's a PC game called Jewel Quest that's realy adictive that could work nicely on a touch screen.
